What does a wedding designer do?
We often meet couples who have trouble streamlining all of their wedding ideas. With the popularity of wedding blogs and wedding shows, you may be overloaded with wedding ideas and can’t focus on a clear direction.
As wedding designers, we help you concentrate on the ideas that are most important to you and, together, we will find the right design for you as a couple…we may even come up with some ideas you have not even thought of.
Many couples worry that hiring a wedding planner and/or designer means that someone is taking over their wedding. This is not the case, as we are here to use our experience and specific skills to create what you are envisioning in addition to guiding you with suggestions. You are welcome to be as involved as you would like!
Sweet Stylings offers two packages for wedding design: Complete Wedding Planning & Design and also Design + Wedding Day Management. But if you are looking for something different, please contact us for a wedding design custom quote.
How do you determine your pricing?
Our pricing reflects our experience in the wedding industry as well as the quality of service we offer for your wedding planning journey with us. We have base fees for all of our packages, and the fee varies based on the specific details that are unique to your wedding.
For our Complete Wedding Planning & Design service, we offer a flat price based on a design fee and details like your guest count, your overall budget and potential complexity of decor. For Design + Wedding day Management and Wedding Day Management, your pricing is determined by the location(s) of your wedding, your guest count and the complexity of your decor or entertainment elements. For a custom Sugar Bar sweet table, your quote is based on the cost of food, cost of supplies, a design and labour fee based on a percentage of your costs, and a flat set-up and/or tear-down fee.

Can I pick and choose what parts of your services I want and do not want?
We have planned out our services so that we can provide the best and most in-depth level of service for our clients. With that said, you can always use our contact form to request a complimentary initial consultation to investigate all of your needs and choose the best service for you. Flexibility is an option but will need to be discussed further during the initial meeting.

Why should I want a Sugar Bar?
A better question would be why wouldn’t you want a custom Sugar Bar? A custom Sugar Bar is a fun and interactive experience for your guests with a sweet reward for them. While the traditional cake cutting is lovely and symbolic, most guests do not (surprisingly) end up eating the cake. Instead of limiting your guests to one type of dessert, why not give your guests options and let them share in some of your favourite sweets?

Why should I hire Sweet Stylings to design a Sugar Bar for me instead of making my own sweet table?
Our Sugar Bar sweet table services are a great option for people who don’t have the time or dedication to invest in the work it takes to design and execute a sweet table for their wedding or intimate event. After all, if you are the Bride or a hostess, you cannot possibly be everywhere at once, so let us help you! Sweet Stylings will work with you to design a concept that is fitting for you while providing you with the particular supplies needed for your display.
We prepare for your event by setting up your Sugar Bar design and styling everything impeccably so that you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Do you make any of the food for the Sugar Bars?
No. We, at Sweet Stylings, are not licensed bakers or pastry/dessert chefs. Although we love baking as a hobby, we work with amazing vendors that can take our ideas and designs and bring them to life for our Sugar Bars.
Do you offer rentals of your cake stands and plating?
No. Our inventory is exclusively for our Sugar Bar clients in order to manage our supplies and prevent breakage and loss.
